Nunes Fails TruMP

Devin Nunes, Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, has just failed his TruMP exam. Spectacularly.
Publius laid out The Trump Management Protocol (TruMP) so that Trumpistas like Nunes could avoid falling into Dumb Don’s mental morass. As Publius has shown many times over two years, once stuck in Don’s morass, you can never extricate yourself. For Trumpistas, passing their TruMP is survival.
Publius designed TruMP to be simple. You have to be a first-class idiot to fail. The impressive number of TruMP Failures—from Sean Spicer to Steve Bannon—tells us everything we need to know about Dumb Don’s ability to identify and keep top talent.
But, Nunes is not part of Don’s White House team. How, then, did he manage to screw up his TruMP?
Nunes released a memo on Kremlingate so poorly composed that you could not get out of high school with it. His memo is a stunning admission of Russia-Trump complicity that no one in the GOP Coalition should ever have allowed to be made public.
Amazingly, Nunes got Dumb Don to approve the memo’s release. Now, Dumb Don is dumb for a reason. As Publius has demonstrated many times by using Don’s own compositions, Don can neither read nor write English. He cannot read the Nunes memo and has no idea what is in it. Even if he does know what is in it, he cannot understand what he knows or describe it in any detail.

Someone on Don’s staff who also failed TruMP must have persuaded the Dumb Dude to agree to the memo’s release sight unseen. Utter madness.
Nunes knew better. No news to him, Don speaks Trumplish, not English. Trumplish is a syntax-free language which cannot, by definition, be translated into syntax-based English or any other language. Trumplish, as Publius has shown over and over, is a grammatical Black Hole.
No one can see Don beyond his Trumplish Event Horizon. And what Don sees looking out at us from inside his Trumplish Black Hole is monstrously distorted in ways that are very hard to imagine. Going anywhere near Dumb Don can be extremely dangerous!!
That is why Publius created TruMP. To keep you out of danger, Devin Nunes.
The Democrats have shown themselves no smarter than Nunes and his Trumpista cohort. They should have demanded that Nunes release his incriminating memo and taken credit for forcing Nunes and the GOP Coalition into TruMP failure. Instead, they let Nunes and his GOP Coalition fail TruMP of their own accord, leaving themselves with nothing to do but moan on the sidelines after the fact.
This makes them idiots too.
Nunes’ memo says that the FBI began investigating Kremlingate in July, 2016 by looking into the affairs of George Papadopoulos, a foreign policy adviser to Dumb Don during his presidential campaign. Papadopoulos has since pleaded guilty and is cooperating with Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
Devin, is this REALLY what you want in your memo?
The memo says that the Kremlingate investigation expanded further on October 21, 2016 to include Carter Page who became a Kremlingate suspect as long ago as 2013. And it goes on to say that the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) approved of this investigation and reapproved it every 90 days thereafter because the Court was given probable cause every time.
Having established that Kremlingate is a legitimate and long-running inquiry under constant review by the courts (Don would go nuts if he understood that Nunes did this to him), the memo makes its core complaint. It says that the Carter Page FISC application did not include the work of Russia expert and former MI-6 agent Christopher Steele, the salacious Dossier funded by anti-Trumpistas at the Washington Free Beacon and the Democratic National Committee.
Then, piling lunacy on lunacy, the Nunes’ memo rebuts its own major point by saying that FISC gave repeated approval to Kremlingate surveillance without needing Steele’s evidence. Huh? The case is that strong? In other words, Nunes is telling us, Don should resign as quickly as possible; he will never make it through this. Nunes' memo makes things worse for Dumb Don, not better.
Devin, did you read this thing before it went out?
Things get weirder. The Nunes memo claims that the FBI “terminated” Steele. But Steele was not an employee and could not be terminated. If he had been an employee, he could not have accepted his consulting fees from the Washington Free Beacon and the DNC. And the whole point of the memo simply vanishes. Steele was doing what most people at MI-6 do (Publius’ cousin was an MI-6 agent), cooperate with the Americans and warn them of dangers to their country. It's called the “Special Relationship.”
Unable to read the memo that he approved, Dumb Don quickly blurted out on Twitter that it “totally vindicates” him, thus putting his limited mental capabilities ever further in doubt.
Failing TruMP, Devin Nunes failed Trump.

Well, that didn't take long. Representative K. Michael Conaway, a member of the GOP coalition from Texas, yesterday repudiated the Nunes memo. The damage it has done to Dumb Don was just too much.

Did Publius ever nail Devin Nunes!! A censored version of the 412 page FISA document on Carter Page that he refers to in his memo was just released to the public. A largely uncensored version was released to members of the House Intelligence Committee that Nunes heads. But Nunes hasn't read the thing!!
Why? Because the FISA document does exactly what Publius said almost half a year ago that it would do: make an idiot of Nunes.
But, Publius showed all those months ago that Nunes own memo made it perfectly clear that this would happen. This dude is seriously dumb. The GOP needs to get rid of this fool and fast.
Nearly four years after Publius pointed out the obvious, Dumb Don has persuaded this flunk out to run his new propaganda machine, The Trump Media and Technology Group. He can expect the same results that Nunes gave him in the Kremlingate memo. That's how smart Dumb Don is. Interesting that no one in the GOP is protesting this huge risk. Weird.
